Instead of working with an individual advisor, clients of Sandifer Wealth Management benefit from a team of experienced professionals working to help them achieve their goals. Our approach often includes working with your other professionals (CPA, Attorney, etc.). This brings together various areas of expertise in a cohesive manner.

Strategic Wealth Management Process

DISCOVERY


This is our opportunity to discover what is financially and personally important to you. We will address your values, goals, relationships and interests and review your existing assets and liabilities. You will also have the chance to learn about how we help our clients gain financial peace of mind and then determine if your needs and our services are a good fit.




INVESTMENT PLANNING MEETING


Based on the information reviewed at the discovery meeting, we will present an investment plan based on your needs, wants and investment experience. The plan will be designed based on your tax profile as well as your personal tolerance for risk. All fees and expenses will be transparent so you will be fully informed.




MUTUAL COMMITMENT MEETING


After you have had the opportunity to review the investment plan, we will get back together to initiate the implementation of your investment plan. At this meeting, we will establish your new accounts, deposit funds and transfer assets. In addition, we will establish your online access to all of your accounts. We will also address proper account titling as well as beneficiary designations.





ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING



This is a very important time to organize all of the information that you will have received over the past 45 days. We will ensure your tax professional has the necessary information to prepare tax projections and returns.




PROGRESS AND UPDATE MEETINGS


This is possibly the most important service you will receive. It includes following through on your Investment Plan, measuring your progress and adjusting the plan as your financial picture changes. In addition, at your first progress meeting, we will begin to develop your plan. We will look at legal, tax and inheritance goals as well as how to best fund charitable contributions you may want to make. Due to the comprehensive nature of the Stategic Wealth Management Plan we will develop for you, we will also address the need to contact your other professional advisors such as your attorney and accountant.

WHAT DOES FIDUCIARY MEAN?


Most “financial advisors” are not required to do what’s in your best interest. Sandifer Wealth Management is a fiduciary, which means we are legally bound to make decisions in your best interest at all times with every decision we make.




ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR AN INITIAL MEETING?


We always offer a complimentary Discovery Meeting to get to know you and learn about your goals. You are able to ask questions and get a better understanding of our firm and how we work with clients.




WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?


Our office is located in the Spring Hill area of Mobile, Alabama. We have clients throughout the country and are happy to meet with you in person or host a virtual / phone meeting if desired.




HOW WILL YOU COMMUNICATE WITH ME?


We communicate in various ways from face-to-face meetings, phone discussions, and email correspondence based on your personal preferences. We provide periodic market commentary and relevant investment and financial planning articles via email and our website.




HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FINANCIAL ADVISORS?


We employ a team approach and have a legal responsibility to act as a fiduciary to all clients. Our fee-only structure differentiates us from the typical brokerage firm and puts us on the same side of the table as our clients. Our firm's boutique structure ensures our clients are never viewed as just a number and allows us to always put our clients' and their families' best interest first.
